Iraq PM notes progress in cooperation with Jordan

AMMAN — Iraqi Prime Minister Mohammed Shia Al Sudani on Wednesday highlighted the progress of cooperation between Iraq and Jordan, supporting both nations’ interests.
During a meeting with Minister of Industry, Trade, and Supply and Minister of Labour Yousef Shamali, who was visiting Iraq with a high-level delegation from the public and private sectors to lead the 29th session of joint ministerial committee meetings, Sudani emphasised the historical ties between the countries, according to the Jordan News Agency, Petra.
Jordanian-Iraqi relations, ways to enhance bilateral partnerships, as well as regional and international coordination in various fields were discussed.
Both parties stressed that joint committee meetings should result in outcomes that contribute to the strengthening of cooperation and maximisation of available opportunities, according to the Jordan News Agency, Petra.
