Investment Ministry lists three tourism investment projects via ‘invest.jo’

AMMAN — The Ministry of Investment on Thursday unveiled three tourism investment projects via the Invest in Jordan (invest.jo) e-platform. The first project involves the establishment of a $20 million tourist village that will focus on integrated agri-tourism in Ajloun. The second project, with an expected investment of $1.4 million, focuses on the rehabilitation and transformation of the southern village of Deir Al Samadiah into a unique agricultural heritage tourist destination. Emphasising the re-use of heritage houses and courtyards, the project aims to provide bed and breakfast accommodation. The third project, "Ajloun National Park", is an eco-friendly park with eco-conscious excursion sites, wooded recreational areas, and basic services. With an expected investment of $5 million and a 14.5-per cent rate of return, the project is located in the Suwan development zone in Ajloun offering panoramic views.
