AMMAN — Minister of Trade, Industry and Supply Yarub Qudah on Saturday said the government does not differentiate between Jordanian, Arab or foreign investors under the law, offering all the same incentives and exemptions, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
During a meeting with a group of Syrian investors, Qudah urged them to benefit from the incentives offered through the agreements Jordan signed with various countries around the world, Petra reported, quoting an Amman Chamber of Industry (ACI) statement.
For his part, ACI President Ziad Homsi commended the incentives provided to non-Jordanians as per a new by-law issued in accordance with the 2014 Investment Law, which he said allow the interior minister to provide residence permits for investors and their families for up to five years.
