INTERPOL database to be available at Kingdom’s border crossings

AMMAN — The Public Security Department’s Arab and International Police Department (AIPD) has embarked on measures to have INTERPOL database resources available at the Kingdom’s border crossings. Director of AIPD Col.
Bilal Awad said Jordan’s Interpol office, in coordination with other concerned agencies, has started measures to provide a database that contains all information about wanted suspects at the Arab and international levels. Awad expects the project to be completed by mid-2016, noting that access to the Interpol database will facilitate work of the AIPD at border crossings.
