Interior minister meets new administrative governors

AMMAN — Interior Minister Salameh Hammad on Wednesday urged administrative governors to monitor the areas under their jurisdiction closely and work round the clock in cooperation with the relevant institutions to resolve the issues facing residents.

At a meeting with newly promoted administrative governors, Hammad said the ministry and its executive departments bear the responsibility to achieve comprehensive security by implementing the law on all without discrimination, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.

He also noted that security campaigns carried out by the ministry and its security institutions to arrest wanted people have been successful in spreading security across the Kingdom.
