Interior, education ministers discuss ensuring 'smooth' Tawjihi session

AMMAN — Interior Minister Samir Mubaidin and Education Minister Azmi Mahafzah on Sunday discussed main administrative, technical and security procedures that have been taken to ensure a "smooth and successful" summer session of the General Secondary Education Certificate Examination (Tawjihi).
Mubaidin highlighted the role and message of the Education Ministry in preparing generations to be future leaders after acquiring the necessary qualifications, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
Mahafzah said that the ministry finished all necessary procedures, noting that all guidelines have been circulated to personnel participating in the examination that will take place in 474 schools nationwide. Gendarmerie Department Director Maj. Gen. Hussein Hawatmeh said that the department tasked its personnel to ensure the security of examinations papers when transferred to and from exam halls.
