Inmates at Muwaqqar break Ramadan fast with their families

AMMAN — The Muwaqqar Correctional and Rehabilitation Centre and the women’s prison recently held an iftar that brought together inmates of good conduct with their families.

The gathering to break the day-long fast was held under the Public Security Department’s initiative “My iftar with my family”, in line with the directives of Director Maj. Gen. Atef Saudi calling for giving inmates an incentive to maintain their good conduct and prepare them for rejoining the community once they serve their sentences. The inmates’ families commended the initiative.
