Imported commodities to see 'largest customs reduction ever' — JCD

AMMAN — Jordan Customs Department (JCD) Director General Maj. Gen. Jalal Qudah on Friday said that the commodities circulated in some media outlets were unified lists of goods that the World Customs Organisation (WCO)issues, which are traded globally.
He told the Jordan News Agency, Petra, that the recent government decision to reduce customs duties on thousands of imported goods is the largest customs reduction ever, and its positive effects will be reflected on citizens and economic sectors.
Qudah urged all media outlets to investigate the accuracy and credibility when dealing with this decision and its positive effects.
