Imams, preachers trained in dialogue, tolerance

AMMAN — The Royal Institute for Inter-Faith Studies (RIIFS) concluded a three-day workshop last Thursday, as part of a project to train imams and preachers on issues related to dialogue, delivering sermons and boosting a culture of tolerance, a RIIFS statement said Monday.
Hassan Kureira, the head of the guidance and preaching department at the Awqaf Ministry, and Academic Adviser at RIIFS Amer Al Hafi, attended the conclusion of the workshop, in which 20 men and women imams and preachers participated.
