ICT Ministry, PSD renew cooperation deal

AMMAN — The ICT Ministry on Saturday renewed a cooperation agreement with the Public Security Department (PSD) to share resources in the National Broadband Network.
Under the agreement, originally signed by the two parties in 2006, the PSD will continue utilising part of the network’s infrastructure, while supervising the connection of a number of Amman corporations to the network, which serves 5,000 companies, 3,664 educational bodies, 678 government agencies and 217 healthcare entities, according to a statement received by The Jordan Times.
