AMMAN — The Greater Amman Municipality (GAM), in cooperation with the Central Traffic Department (CTD), on Monday announced a partial closure of Huriyyeh Street towards the Irsal traffic light in Muqabalein between Tuesday dawn and Saturday morning.

Mohammad Faouri, GAM director of joint management, said the closure is aimed at revamping the rainwater drainage network, noting that will start at the Huffath Academy.

GAM and CTD will ensure complete traffic safety and have installed guiding signs all over the area, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported. Faouri called on motorists to abide by the instructions of traffic police officers to ease traffic flow.
