House speaker, UAE ambassador meet over bilateral cooperation

AMMAN — Lower House Speaker Abdulmunim Oddat and Emirati Ambassador to Jordan Ahmed Ali Balushi on Tuesday discussed means of supporting joint coordination and cooperation in all fields, notably in parliament.

The two sides emphasised the Jordanian-UAE deep relations, while Oddat lauded the Gulf country’s response to the impacts of COVID-19 pandemic, highlighting the need for expertise exchange in this arena.  Oddat also highlighted the need to increase UAE investments in Jordan, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.

Balushi expressed his country’s appreciation of the Kingdom’s supportive stances towards Arab and Islamic issues, expressing the Gulf country’s keenness to enhance its investments in Amman.
