House speaker to hold press conference Wednesday

Lower House Speaker Atef Tarawneh is scheduled to hold a press conference on Sunday at 12:30pm during which he will highlight the achievements of the Lower House and its legislative and monitoring role.

Lower House Speaker Atef Tarawneh will hold a press conference at 3pm on Tuesday, during which he will speak about the chamber's achievements during the ordinary session and highlight the importance its oversight role and function as a legislative body.

Lower House Speaker Atef Tarawneh on Tuesday met with Rheil Gharaibeh, founder and general coordinator of the National Initiative for Building (Zamzam), and discussed the chamber’s monitoring and legislative role over national issues.
