'Hospital employee dies in fall from 10th floor'

AMMAN — An employee of the King Abdullah I University Hospital near Ramtha died on Monday after falling from the 10th floor of the facility, hospital Spokesperson Muhannad Malkawi said. Malkawi told the Jordan News Agency, Petra, that security authorities had opened an investigation into the incident.
Also on Monday, Civil Defence Department (CDD) cadres put out a fire in the yard of a factory in Ras Al Ain area. The CDD was able to control the fire without any injuries, Petra reported, adding that the cause of the blaze is being investigated. In another incident, four people were injured when their vehicle overturned in Rweished in Mafraq. CDD cadres administered first aid to the injured and took them to Rweished Hospital, where they were listed in fair condition.
