Hneifat elected president of AOAD

AMMAN — The General Assembly of the Arab Organisation for Agricultural Development (AOAD) has elected Agriculture Minister Khaled Hneifat as its two-year term president, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported on Thursday.
During the 1st International Jordanian Agricultural Forum, held at the King Hussein Convention Centre at the Dead Sea, the assembly also elected a Yemeni representative as its vice president.
In AOAD’s latest meeting, attended by the organisation’s ministers, Hneifat stressed the importance of maintaining coordination to achieve pan-Arab economic integration, according to Petra.
