HEC standardises academic calendars of universities

AMMAN — The Higher Education Council (HEC) on Thursday announced a decision to standardise the calendars of the Jordanian higher education institutions for the next academic year of 2022-2023.
Spokesperson of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research Mohannad Khatib said that the public universities' academic year will begin on October 2, 2022, while the first day of classes will begin on October 9, 2022. Meanwhile, private universities will start on October 9, 2022 and the first day of classes will begin on October 16, 2022, he added.
