Health Ministry refutes report on student vaccination

AMMAN — The Ministry of Health on Saturday refuted reports claiming that the ministry had requested to vaccinate school students with a COVID-19 vaccine, when it is available.
An official source from the ministry said that children and young people are not among the targeted category, noting that the priority will be given to the elderly and those who suffer from chronic health conditions.
Regarding those who received alerts from the Aman app, which alerts users if they come into contact with a virus positive individual, the source added that Al Bashir Hospital, has been providing free of charge COVID-19 tests for dozens of COVID-19 patients' contacts for 10 days, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
