AMMAN — Health Minister Feras Al Hawari and World Health Organisation (WHO) Representative in Jordan Jamilah Raibi on Monday signed the country support plan for 2022-2023, which determines WHO’s support fields.
Hawari said that the plan is a part of mechanisms and ways to enhance WHO’s support for the Kingdom's health sector, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
Raibi said that the WHO will work on supporting and implementing cooperation fields and activities under the basic aspects of comprehensive health coverage, emergencies, population health, and information and data based on the national health priorities. The expected cost of the plan stands at $21 million, which is an already planned cost that does not indicate the available money for implementation.
