Health Institutions Accreditation Council launches ‘Change Day’

AMMAN — Under the patronage of HRH Princess Muna, the Health Institutions Accreditation Council on Monday launched its “Change Day” initiative for the ninth year in a row, under the slogan “Medicine Without Harm”.
Change Day coincides with the World Health Organisation's World Patient Safety Day, and includes materialising pledges made by contractors to improve the quality of health services and materialise the principles of patient safety and rights.
Through the initiative, the council aims to motivate all health sector workers, individuals and institutions, to pledge to provide the best in healthcare through pioneering activities and events and to improvise the level of healthcare in the Kingdom before the date of the initiative.
The 2022 initiative received more than 100,000 pledges, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
