AMMAN — Under the patronage of HRH Princess Muna, the Health Care Accreditation Council (HCAC) on Monday launched the 2021 national goals campaign for healthcare quality and safety.
Princess Muna, in a written letter addressing the participants in a virtual ceremony, expressed pride in working with stakeholders for 13 years towards improving healthcare services, mainly operationalising the safety principles of patients and workers in Jordanian healthcare institutions, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
“Together, we celebrate your achievements and begin a new journey of commitment in implementing the national goals for the quality and safety of healthcare,” the princess said.
Princess Muna expressed hope that these tireless efforts would be reflected in providing safe and optimal service to the citizens.
The 2021 campaign has set common goals for hospitals and primary health centres, including ensuring safe working conditions for healthcare providers and maintaining access to healthcare services.
The campaign also formulated specific objectives, including hospital’s optimisation of antibiotics use, and improving primary health centres’ preparedness for emergencies and effective management of epidemics and/or pandemics, Petra added.
