Hashemite scientific sessions will be on Jerusalem, Al Aqsa during Ramadan

AMMAN — The Hashemite scientific sessions that the Awqaf Ministry will organise during Ramadan under Royal patronage will be dedicated to Jerusalem and Al Aqsa Mosque, Ministry Secretary General Mahmoud Hadid said on Monday.
Hadid pointed out that the sessions will be held every Friday during Ramadan with the participation of Jordanian, Arab and Muslim scholars, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
He noted that the ministry, through Awqaf directorates, will hold similar sessions with the same titles in various governorates with the participation of scholars, Sharia [Islamic Law] professors, muftis and Islamic preachers.

The Ministry of Awqaf and Islamic Affairs is scheduled to organise the first Hashemite Scientific Council on Friday titled “Integrity and Transparency Standards in Sharia [Islamic law]” at the King Abdullah I Mosque.
