Hammouri recognised for efforts to promote medical tourism

AMMAN — Fawzi Hammouri, the president of the Private Hospitals Association (PHA) and the chairman of the International Council for Medical Tourism, on Friday won the Sanjiv Malik Lifetime Achievement Award, according to a statement from the PHA.
He was granted the award during an international medical tourism conference held in Madrid.
Hammouri received the honour for his efforts in developing the sector of medical tourism at the local and international levels. Hammouri said winning the prize reflects the importance of Jordan on the international map of medical tourism.
