Halaseh visits Jordan Valley projects

AMMAN — Public Works and Housing Minister Sami Halaseh on Monday conducted two field visits to Mallah’s housing and Waqqas road projects in the Jordan Valley, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported. The projects, implemented under Royal initiatives, will cost JD16 million.
Halaseh cited Prime Minister Hani Mulki’s visit to the project last year, where he laid the cornerstone to build houses that cope with the nature of the area which is characterised by high percentages of salinity in soil and underground water. The visit also included checking on Waqqas road.
