Halasa checks on Desert Highway reconstruction project

AMMAN — Public Works and Housing Minister Sami Halasa and Head of the Saudi Fund for Development’s (SDF) Technical Mission Adullah Khweiter on Wednesday checked on the Desert Highway reconstruction project.

Halasa and Khweiter met with the three contractors supervising the implementation works, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported. The project to revamp the Desert Highway stretches over 220 kilometres starting at Queen Alia International Airport intersection and ending at Ras Al Naqab, north of Aqaba.
