Gov’t extends deadline for tax fine exemption
By JT - Mar 04,2019 - Last updated at Mar 04,2019
AMMAN — The Ministers Council on Monday extended the deadline of the exemption from fines on overdue tax payments until March 31, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
This is the last extension granted by the council under the condition that taxes are paid in full with the option to pay in instalments.
The decision came in light of the pressure caused by the high turnout of taxpayers trying to meet the previous deadline, and to give citizens the chance to take advantage of the instalment system, valid until the end of this year.
