Gov’t denounces Israeli violations in occupied Jerusalem

AMMAN — Jordan on Monday denounced the continuous Israeli violations against Al Aqsa Mosque/Al Haram Al Sharif, and the recurrent raids by Zionist extremists and settlers.

Minister of Awqaf and Islamic Affairs Abdul Nasser Abul Bassal warned that the Israeli closure of Al Rahmah Gate for Muslim prayers is a worrying and provocative incursion on the rights of Palestinians and the feelings of all Muslims, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.

Abul Basal held Israel, as an occupation force, fully responsible for the safety of Al Aqsa Mosque, its employees and guards, calling on Israel to immediately halt all these attacks.
