Gov’t is committed to following up on NCHR’s recommendations — PM

AMMAN — The government is committed to place the necessary attention to the recommendations included in the National Centre for Human Rights report, in a way that contributes to developing human rights in the Kingdom, Prime Minister Omar Razzaz said on Tuesday.
Chairing the first meeting of the committee on following up with human rights recommendations, Razzaz noted that the government would consider some human rights policies and procedures to enhance human rights, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
Basel Tarawneh, the government coordinator for human rights, referred to having the political will at state institutions to enhance human rights in the Kingdom.
