Gov’t human rights coordinator presents national plan in Tunisia visit

AMMAN — Basel Tarawneh, the government’s human rights coordinator, on Thursday outlined the National Plan of Human Rights, during a visit upon an invitation from the Tunisian Ministry for Relations with the Constitutional Authorities, Civil Society and Human Rights, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
Tarawneh said that the 10-year plan will be implemented in the fields of governmental programmes and performance, in addition to legislations. He noted that the visit, supported by the Danish Institute for Human Rights, will enhance cooperation with Tunisia in this regard, according to Petra.
