Gov’t announces Thursday public holiday due to weather conditions

AMMAN –– The government on Wednesday announced that ministries and public agencies will observe a holiday on Thursday due to the weather conditions, according to the Jordan News Agency, Petra.
The decision was taken as the Kingdom is under the impact of a polar front that brought heavy rain across the country and is forecast to bring snow in most areas.
Earlier in the day, the government said public departments hours were to end by 12 noon on Thursday.
