Germany supports Civil Defence Department

AMMAN — The Civil Defence Department (CDD) on Thursday received the first batch of equipment presented from the German government within the project of enhancing CDD capabilities. CDD Director General Lt. Gen.
Talal Kofahi expressed his appreciation for the German government’s efforts in supporting the CDD in a way that contributes to developing its performance. Christoph Unger, president of the Federal Office of Civil Protection and Disaster Assistance of Germany, said the project is a contribution to providing the CDD with modern tools aimed at helping its personnel better perform their field duties.
