AMMAN — The Robert Bosch Stiftung’s 2015 Film Prize winner in the short fiction film category, “The Parrot”, to be directed by Jordanian directors Amjad Al Rasheed and Darin Sallam, will be shooting in Jordan this week, according to a press statement by the Jordan Film Commission.
Produced by Roman Roitman of the German film production company, Monokel, “The Parrot” is an original story about displacement and adaptation, told from an unusual perspective with lightness and great love for details, for which the Film Prize jury awarded this project.
The cast line-up includes internationally acclaimed stars Hend Sabry and Ashraf Barhoum, in addition to participations of Jordanian, Tunisian and Palestinian actors. The film is set to premiere in 2016.
