GCC, Jordan continue talks on education cooperation

AMMAN — The joint action team between the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) and Jordan on Wednesday continued their second day of meetings that addressed means of cooperation and the exchange of expertise to develop the educational process.
Education Ministry Secretary General for Administrative and Financial Affairs Najwa Qubeilat said that Wednesday's meeting included presentations on strategic planning, development of curricula and activities, vocational and general education, expanding childhood programmes and post-COVID education, and exchanging expertise in education, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
For his part, Abdullah Mashal, head of the public education at GCC Secretariat General, reviewed the council's strategy, fields of technology and educational data safety, teacher training, student activities and educational courses, expressing willingness to benefit from the Jordanian expertise in vocational education.
