AMMAN — Industry, Trade and Supply Minister Maha Ali on Tuesday underlined Jordan’s commitment to improving economic cooperation with Palestine in all areas, especially in trade.
During a meeting with a delegation from the Gaza chamber of commerce, she also stressed the Kingdom’s keenness to eliminate obstacles facing trade movement between the two countries.
For their part, the delegates expressed their desire to increase imports of Jordanian commodities, particularly food, cement and pharmaceuticals in order to reduce the size of Israeli products consumed in the strip, valued at $2 billion a year.
