‘GAM spent JD13.715m on opening, maintaining roads in 2016’

AMMAN — The executive department at the Greater Amman Municipality (GAM) last year opened new roads and completed maintenance work at a cost of JD13.715 million, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
The department’s director, Ehab Dabbas, said opening new roads alone cost JD6.364 million.
Additional work cost JD2.734 million, Dabbas said, adding that it involved also the maintenance of rainwater drainage networks, in addition to building and maintaining manholes.
