GAM launches 12th ‘Amman is Our Home’ campaign

AMMAN — The Greater Amman Municipality (GAM) on Tuesday launched the 12th annual "Amman is Our Home" campaign to maintain the capital's general appearance and cleanliness.
Amman Mayor Yousef Shawarbeh, during the launch of the campaign, called for avoiding littering from vehicles or in public places, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
The campaign, launched in cooperation with Zain Jordan, aims to raise awareness about the importance of maintaining the cleanliness of the city by distributing 100,000 environment-friendly paper bags for vehicles and public transport buses.
Citizens expressed their appreciation for GAM’s gesture that would contribute to enhancing the appearance of the capital and preserve its cleanliness, according to Petra.
