Freihat meets Romanian defence minister over cooperation

AMMAN – Chairman of the Joint Chiefs-of-Staff Lt. Gen. Mahmoud Freihat on Monday met with Romanian Defence Minister Mihai Fifor and his accompanying delegation to discuss means of joint cooperation and coordination and ways to strengthen bilateral relations, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.

Also on Monday, a delegation headed by Fifor visited Jordan Centre for Counter Extremism (JCCE), where they were briefed by JCCE Director Col. Mohammed Aref Al Athmat on the role played by the centre and its tasks and duties. The delegation toured the centre in the presence of College Dean Brig. Gen. Nasser Mohammad Muhairat and praised the JCCE’s role in combating ideological extremism.
