Freihat meets with members of US Congress, Canadian ambassador

AMMAN — Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Lt. Gen. Mahmoud Freihat on Monday received a delegation of US members of Congress.  Freihat and the delegation discussed cooperation and coordination, in addition to ways of enhancing Jordanian-US relations, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.

Earlier in the day, Freihat also received Canadian Ambassador to Jordan Peter MacDougall and an accompanying delegation. Talks went over furthering bilateral cooperation to serve the interests of both countries’ armed forces.
