Four dead, 22 injured in separate road accidents

AMMAN — Three people died, including two US nationals, and two were injured in a two-vehicle collision on Monday involving a truck and a minivan on the international Muwaqqar highway.
The Civil Defence Department (CDD) said its personnel administered first aid to the injured, also US nationals, and took them to Totanji Hospital, where they were reported to be in fair condition, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
In another accident in Maan, one man died when his vehicle overturned in the Mudawara area. Also on Monday, 20 people were injured in a two-vehicle collision on the Zarqa-Mafraq Highway, Petra reported. CDD cadres rushed to the scene, administered first aid to the injured and took them to hospital, Petra quoted a CDD source as saying.
