Former MP Abu Zant passes away

AMMAN — Former MP Abdul Munem Abu Zant passed away at dawn on Sunday. Deputising for His Majesty King Abdullah, Amman Governor Khaled Abu Zeid attended Abu Zant’s funeral and conveyed the King’s condolences to his family.
Lower House Speaker Atef Tarawneh expressed offered condolences on behalf of the Lower House to the family of the former deputy, who served in three parliaments.
The speaker said Abu Zant set an example of dedication and patriotism during his years as lawmaker.
