Former justice minister Hussein Mjalli passes away

AMMAN — Former justice minister Hussein Mjalli died on Sunday at the age of 77 after suffering a severe heart attack.
Mjalli, who served as justice minister in the government of Marouf Bakhit in 2011, was elected as an MP in 1989 and was president of the Jordan Bar Association for more than one term.
Prime Minister Abdullah Ensour paid tribute to Mjalli and expressed his condolences to his family.
Mjalli will be laid to rest on Monday at his hometown of Kitta in Jerash.
