AMMAN — The Labour Ministry’s inspection teams on Tuesday apprehended 11 Asian foreign workers, operating without the proper permits, at an undisclosed tourist facility in Jordan, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
The detainees carried house worker permits instead of the proper documents for operating a tourist facility, Petra added.
The Labour Ministry’s spokesperson, Mohammad Khatib, said that the ministry carries out regular inspection campaigns to control the illegal employment of foreign labourers. The detainees will be processed for deportation in accordance with the law.
