The Ministry of Foreign Affairs says on Wednesday that it is monitoring reports of the recent disappearance of two Jordanian citizens in Syria (JT file)
AMMAN — The Ministry of Foreign Affairs said on Wednesday that it is monitoring reports of the recent disappearance of two Jordanian citizens in Syria.
Sufyan Qudah, director of Operations and Consular Affairs Directorate confirmed that the ministry, in cooperation with the Kingdom's Embassy in Damascus, is working with the Syrian authorities to locate the missing citizens, according to a Foreign Ministry statement.
Qudah stressed that the directorate is in constant contact with the families of the missing and is committed to coordinating with all relevant parties to ensure the quick and safe return of the citizens to Jordan.
The disappearance of the two Jordanian citizens was reported on Monday.
