Foreign Ministry voices concern over developments in Mogadishu

AMMAN — The Foreign Ministry on Saturday expressed its concern about the developments in Mogadishu, which resulted in several deaths and injuries.
Ministry Spokesperson Deifallah Fayez highlighted the importance of de-escalation, self-control and resolving disputes through peaceful means through political dialogue that considers national interests and ending the conflict to realise security, peace and stability in Somalia, according to a ministry statement.
Fayez expressed deepest condolences to the victims’ families and wished the injured a speedy recovery.
