Five dead in Karak car accident

AMMAN — Five people were killed and two others were injured in a two-car collision in the southern Jordanian governorate of Karak, according to a statement by the Civil Defence Department (CDD) on Thursday.
Emergency response personnel with the CDD evacuated the deceased and administered first aid to the injured then transferred them to the Karak government hospital. One of the injured was listed in critical condition while the other was listed as fair, the CDD statement said.
