Fayez receives annual JIACC report

AMMAN — Senate President Faisal Fayez on Wednesday received the annual report of the Jordan Integrity and Anti-Corruption Commission (JIACC).

The report highlights the commission's achievements for the year, as well as recommendations for protecting public money and preventing financial and administrative malfeasance.

Meeting with JIACC Chairman Muhannad Hijazi and JIACC members, Fayez highlighted the need to focus on witness protection to encourage officials to report such crimes, according to the Jordan News Agency, Petra.

Hijazi reviewed the commission’s main tasks and its role in protecting public funds, specifically drawing attention to the money successfully retrieved this year.
