Families of fallen army, security personnel honoured

AMMAN — Deputising for Chairman of the Joint Chiefs-of-Staff Lt. Gen. Mahmoud Freihat, Maj. Gen. Saber Mahairah attended a ceremony that was held by the Jordan Armed Forces-Arab Army (JAF) to honour parents of security personnel who died or were injured in the line of duty.

During the ceremony, held to mark the 49th anniversary of the Karamah Battle, Mahairah praised the sacrifices of security personnel in defence of the country, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
