Expats a source of pride for Jordan — PM

AMMAN — The government is committed to maintaining communication with Jordanians living and working abroad, Prime Minister Abdullah Ensour said Thursday.
At a meeting with a group of Jordanian media professionals working abroad who were attending the Jordanian Expatriates Conference 2015, Ensour said citizens abroad are “a source of pride for us all”, reflecting a “bright image” of the Kingdom.
Also on Thursday, MP Zakariya Sheikh, head of the Lower House National Guidance Committee, and its rapporteur MP Hayel Daaja, met with the Jordanian media professionals and highlighted the Lower House’s readiness to work with them.
They also briefed them on the achievements of the 17th Lower House and listened to the challenges facing them.
