AMMAN — The EU said on Monday that it signed an agreement with the German Jordanian University (GJU) to provide scholarship opportunities to Syrian refugees and vulnerable Jordanian students from host communities as part of its “No Lost Generation” initiative.
GJU is leading this programme by establishing a public-private partnership represented by Jordan University of Science and Technology, Zarqa University and Al Quds College, an EU statement said. The partnership provides vocational, bachelor and master degrees to 300 underprivileged Jordanian and 700 Syrian students, the statement said.
