‘Energy Ministry to float seven tenders’

AMMAN — Energy Ministry Secretary General Amani Azzam on Saturday said the ministry is scheduled to float tenders for seven renewable energy projects with a capacity of 350 to 400 megawatts, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
Azzam noted that the projects include five solar power facilities and two wind farms, asserting the importance of such projects in diversifying energy resources. She said the projects will be located in the Kingdom’s south.
