Energy commission records 111 cases of power theft

AMMAN — The Energy and Minerals Regulatory Commission’s (EMRC) law enforcement department has detected 111 electricity theft cases out of 504 inspections it organised after receiving complaints from electricity distributing companies, EMRC President Farouq Hiyari said Wednesday.
Hiyari urged investors and citizens to abide by laws and licensing terms to ensure that everyone receives electricity.
